Submissions must be in electronic format, either mailed on floppy disk or CD or sent as attached files. Our editors work in Word 2003, using Track Changes. If an author is unfamiliar with that method, however, and prefers hard copy, the editor will print the Track Changes version of a ms., including all edits and comments, to mail back to the author. Submission format: A properly presented manuscript is a sign of professionalism, and it makes a favorable impression upon any editor. A manuscript presented in non-standard format often requires more effort to read and to edit, which almost certainly will translate into a higher cost to you. Do yourself (and our editors' eyes!) a huge service: print (or format to print) the manuscript as it should be for submission to a publisher. Format your manuscript as follows:
If you use a Windows pc, save your file in Word, Word Perfect, or .rtf. If you use a Mac, save your file in .rtf. |
